As a boy in 1952 I saw my first real sports car in Colorado Springs, Colorado-a great looking blonde in short shorts was giving the once over to a red Jag XK-120. I had my going around the block time and time again. The Golden Age of Sports Cars has passed in my books. They were once a dual purpose car that could by cornering and braking beat the Detroit Big Iron. It ended for me with "Ford vs. Ferrari." Like the Cold War-Ford like Regan just bought the ending with the three points of Joe Kennedy success-1). money, 2). money 3). money-as in the Le Mans buy a ride. I compare David to Tom MCChaill who tried to flip a Corvair 28 times and couldn't. If you love Ralph Nadar this is not this book. Me, being a Ken Miles fan and knowing Sterling Moss was robbed, I love this book. You need a bird's eye view of what it was. This is it. Thanks, David.
