I've seen bad reviews by the MSM on this series, but It really drew me in. The music is very ethereal, and made me "change state" into my nature childhood, where I grew up in France and went camping 2 months a year with my parents... pyrenees etc. It makes a real nice change from violent series, or series with too much special effects or sci-fi.
Very human story, very French. Covers underage girls trying to get rich via prostitution.. something that does happen. Eve was raised by a forest hobo for 2 years after she was abandoned, and has a special link with the Forest - a supernatural white wolf leads her too important sites in the forest.
I really felt the toughened orphan isolation of Eve, who finally finds out about her mother in the end. Its also refreshingly free of "woke" narratives being pushed down your throat.
By the way, the "spiral" symbol which appears .. is a very ancient symbol that appears in carvings in Zion, Utah, and also in Mt Bego (southern French alps) . It is thought to represent fertility.
