I have legitimately liked all 8 of the previous Star Wars movies, and loved most of them. I did not go in expecting disappointment. The acting and action were well done. Babu Frick was awesome. However, ignoring previously established facts and introducing new information that makes previous movies obsolete, but has no real purpose, was like a slap in the face. The constant deus ex machina was infuriating. This was basically really atrociously written fan fiction.
