The Wannsee Conference is chilling. The historic planning meeting for the "final solution of the Jewish problem" is treated as an ordinary, but important, business meeting. Statistics are discussed, how many people can fit into a transport train, how much gas will be necessary for the chambers--all of the mechanics and mathematics are debated. Coffee is served, the (all-male) conference members ogle the (female) secretaries, and the secretaries swoon over the handsome military men. Just an ordinary meeting discussing all the business aspects of genocide.
