Bec Perkins

One thing I particularly love about this film is the reverence of silence. The deficit of a musical score lays bare the true soul of this poignant story, along with stunning scenery filmed with a masterful eye. Too often, films bombard the viewer with a plethora of visual, aural and technological stimuli, but Sweet Country is brilliantly void of distractions, so you can truly immerse yourself in the narrative. I loved it.
