Woke overlay, odd interleaving of whimsical humor, and a far fetched 'nazis are here and influencing high reaches of US government' pretense detract from a core truth about WW2 ex Nazis being in the US and elsewhere while being 'hunted' by Simon Weisenthal and others. The unadorned real story would have been more interesting to me.
