if you’re a fan of the original three reboots, i would NOT watch this!!! or at least 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ plot was SO convoluted , felt like they were trying to put everything they could into the movie without any solid story telling. they tried to retell the story and influence of Ceaser so unclearly, never painting a clear picture for the main characters of what Ceaser really stood for, or why they looked up to him. ex, the villains that “looked up” to Ceaser and used his influence to explain their choices never went into any further explanation other than “for Ceaser”. deaths weren’t meaningful, with no build up, didn’t evoke emotions the same way deaths did in the original POTA trilogy. human characters were shallow, never having clear motivations. the main human character had no growth in this movie. did the rest of the series dirty by releasing this. makes me really sad, I had such high hopes for it.
