Trump lives rent free in Stephen's head. King cannot help but mention Trump multiple times throughout the novel. Of course, all of the "Trumpers" in the novel are the bad guys. The novel also is centered around Covid, which I get because of the dates, but it is mentioned constantly (masks, vaccines, elbow bumps, social distance) which is annoying. I read to escape and this book did not do it for me. Way too political. Sad.
