Off-putting visuals, Lions are much more expressive than other animals which feels really weird. Mufasa is a bland and uninteresting protagonist, the first act is a complete mess of plot points and forced conflict and resolution. Songs are really bland and forgettable, and the movie is overall just really really boring. Plot feels like it was made for a six part tv show and then badly condensed down into a movie that doesn’t flow well at all. Terrible movie, don’t even watch it as a joke. Absolute waste of two hours.
