I had an recurring payment which I had forgot I set-up 3 months ago. A payment was taken without any warning. I reached out to Steam 5 minutes after the payment was taken, which they immediately cancelled and refunded me the full amount.
I've since received a threatening email from ESO support, to contact my bank immediately and cancel a chargeback. My account has been permanently deactivated and I cannot access the content I've already paid for.
The customer service is poor, they do not respond to your emails in full and use canned responses whilst hiding behind their policies.
After this interaction I completely regret sinking my hard-earned money to support such a hostile company.
