British B/W films of the era evoke more excitement. This film uses CGT a lot for the battle scenes and it shows. Also what on earth was a U boat Captain doing relaying messages over the allies ships radio? Highly unbelievable.

Lots of shooting and dancing around stunt fighting. Not so much story.
Plenty of explosions if you like that sort of thing.
