Not sure which I hated more, the acting, the poorly thought out flimsy storyline or the 2000’s CGI… I try not to compare a remake to an original but the first seems way more plausible than this. My interest was peaked to see a gender swap over to a creepy little girl but that Hope quickly faded the more I saw of her. The main character Bo, I’m pretty sure she only emoted the same 3 emotions, scared face, “i’m gonna cry face” & “i’m so confused” face. In trailers I saw potential & I gave it a chance but there was just too much cringe & I’m glad I at least waited to rent this for $4.99 over theater tickets for upwards of $25 or so… still I want my $5 back. Do not recommend.
