heart warming movie, had to fight tears for at least thrice and this doesn't happen usually with me, movie is about sacrifice, and family relationships and mostly forgiveness, and the beauty of south India & tamizhans. Kudos to director, and producer as well entire cast, yogi babu sir is going to be a legendary actor, there's no stopping him, now. any film industry can produce mass/classy/posh/rich movies but the movies that show the true spirit of love and forgiveness are very important, especially during these heartless days.

This is a kind of a movie that gives you 'feels' good one, USA sending kind men feller,mac aurther to speculate a decision on japan's emperor role in war and rebuilding japan was really good on USA. the performance of each actor is undoubtedly flawless and in fact very natural, i feel sorry for myself to miss watching this movie for years together this is a truly exceptional movie if at all you are into historical/war movies with good story and less violence. I wholeheartedly hope and wish people like capitan feller, mac aurthur and the japan's emperor be fruitful and flourish because at these times such people are very important to heal this world.

If someone tells a layman or a random movie lover who has no idea about Japanese movies that this movie was released Yesterday itself, i am sure that person will believe it. It makes me wonder that this movie was released when i was hardly 16 and the colors/visuals/artwork of this movie is beyond words for that era...i would have gone mad if i knew about this movie when i was a teen... Studio Ghibili's work and the founder/main artist/creationist Hayao Miyakazi of this studio is the reason for all this Glorious work and all the anime we witness is somehow directly/indirectly laid foundation by Studio Ghibili, not the concepts of asinine new age animies though, just the kind of colors and artwork A 21 years old movie can get you immersed into it especially when you are sober....most of the movie makers around the world can still only dream about creating such beauty of work, let leave alone bringing up a heart warming script and i believe google should show "Rumi Hiiragi" as chihiro voice than "Daveigh Chase" in it's search

This Movie expresses the Quantum of Realities and the gravity and correlation of our actions, interconnected and laid between our lives, the way characters are presented in this movie...it moved me heavily every time i watched this movie and this is the one of the rare hollywood movie which is 3 hours Long...i love every single minute of it for the deep meaning in it. I don't agree with saying "this movie goes slow in the middle" and all that, in fact this movie's story moves so fast connecting the dots of relationships between the characters...regrets of each character...things wish they would have done, and repentance for their past....there is so much reality and strong meaning in the way this movie moves...represents our lives...our regrets...our past...and what we escape from and what we fear to face out in our lives... The Police Officer's and the relationship between jimmy gator's daughter's character, love and the chemistry between them is deeply romantic...if we can understand that love is not just the joy but the pain and acceptance of our bare realities and quite opposite sides... Beautiful Movie

I felt Sad for Tom and Isabel because they were the ones who got hurt most for doing what is right and just. I cannot say anything for Michael Fassbender's performance, other than feeling "My Sincere Respect" maybe he can only play a role of Metal Bender from X-men and also play a righteous and sacrificing man in this movie, Man of Talent and Great Character for choosing his roles or his roles choose him? The Beauty of Female Lead, her way of speaking with eyes alone, and the way she walked when her emotions were on the toll...She's an Amazing Actress! Rest of the cast did Great, but it is both the main male and female leads lit the light of our emotions with their great acting. Stories like these can help us to grow and have hope in humanity, thanks for the Script and Script Writers, Producers, Directors, and every department which involved in making this movie. even the reliance! This movie goes as a sweetest memory.
