Colin Mackerras

The acting and especially the scenery were excellent. I liked viewing what Irish village society was like just after the First World War and the way it was portrayed was really great. The main actors were very expressive and effective. As for the plot, it was not as convincing as I would like and I ended up feeling the characters other than the main woman didn't act rationally. On the other hand, the characterization was really excellent. So overall I rate four stars. Mary and Colin
