One of the best movies I've seen. Very true to today's standards. Highly recommend watching as a family....no matter what the age!!

Loved this movie. So many twists and turns. The acting was wonderful. You get so involved with the characters and they have you feel what they feel. Highly recommend!!!

SPOILER ALERT: I loved it as much as the original with Richard Chamberlain. The story followed the same, the actors were phenomenal! However....if not a season 2 was possible, I feel an episode 11 could have answered many questions. How did Anjin return home? Showing him with his grandsons, laying in bed looking like he was frightened, was like an unnecessary teaser since there was no answer how he got there. Also, whatever happened to Torenaga? Having no end to such a wonderful series was a huge disappointment.

Starting to watch for the 2nd time. Loved it the first time but just came home from London and feel the need to watch again. Highly recommend...the acting was superb!

Oh dear lord...I'm trying to show interest but this truly is the strangest movie I've seen! SPOIL ALERT: Justine is the bride and spends more time away from her wedding reception peeing on the golf course, taking a nap when she takes time to put her nephew to bed, and now as the reception is waiting for her she is in the bathtub. Every aspect of this movie is weird and makes me look forward to the world's to collide.

The last 30 minutes was probably the best. The singing and dancing were top notch. For only being just under 2 hours, the first hour sort of dragged, but had to set up the story. Was disappointed that Hugh Grant didn't show up till past second half. However, Wonka sounded and acted just like Gene Wilder which was wonderful. It was a very good movie, just not my favorite, but I would watch again, maybe.

It was ok....dragged on....and seemed to have a lot of blah blah blah talking. Two hour movie could've been cut back, too long. I love Bradley Cooper, but not his most interesting movie.

SPOIL ALERT......Seemed weird and strange at first especially when mom decided to leave at a moments notice to take a family vacation, planned and packing before the family even woke up. The ending left you wondering.....Rose heard her mom calling her. When Rose went into the safe room she didn't close the door behind her. I am assuming her mom came into the house and found her and eventually they all joined Rose in the safe room. Rose commented earlier that she was done with it all, that her mom paid no attention to her; however, I cannot imagine Rose would lock herself in the safe room all alone. That's the ending I'm believing since we don't have a final ending

I loved it. Actors were all wonderful. Story line was a little confusing at first, but all came together. I sure hope they decide to do season 2. If a show is not getting renewed, then remove it asap so people like us don't watch it, love it, and get disappointed when it's not continuing. Not fair.

I loved the original. This was even better. The emotion was more. Beautiful animals and superb real life scenery. Disney outdid themselves!
