I am ashamed to admit it…but i put about 200 hours into this game…why…looking back now, the only reason i played it for so long is due to a huge lack of quality in video games due to development being driven by monetisation instead of the experience they can provide. the nostalgia of bethesda’s previous 2006 and 2011 triumphs are ingrained in the experience…which i have a soft spot for…but that dwindles and your left with a sense of how empty and copy and paste the experience is…at the end of the day, Bethesda have decided not to utilise their past decades revenue to advance with the times and change their game engine…it is apparent that they have just put a new coat of paint on an engine that was being used in 2011. Wether is to due to laziness…improper distribution of funds or a stubbornness to play it safe…combined with a lack of transparency with the fan base…the future looks bland for Bethesda and Elder Scrolls VI. Buy this game for 35-40 AUD max and make sure you have some good cannabis…you will need it to play the whole game. 5/10 I feel stupid for playing it as long as i did.😅👏🏻
