Have to read the book San Francisco still, but Shellenberger just strikes me as the Jordan Peterson of environment science. He's going upstream against progressive thinking on environment and climate change with his positive view of nuclear energy, very much like Jordan is swimming against gender equality and other "progressive" civil rights advocates, for people to clean their room first before attempting to change the world.
