Burger Flipper

I have been following Viv for so many years, and have looked forward for her projects. She's an amazing inspiration but I do have to agree that the only thing this show has it going for is its unique art style and animation and catchy songs. The rest was.. honestly a bit insufferable. The hotel and Charlie didn't do ANYTHING. AT ALL. It literally had a very simple idea. Sinners go to the hotel to be redeemed, and the main cast becomes closer and becomes a "family." But it didn't do that at all, it completely changes its focus to having a war with angels. Are you telling me that the hotel, the actual concept, will only finally be implemented at season 2? WHAT?? I find it insane that Husk and Angel have more chemistry and development than Vaggie and Charlie, THE PROTAGONIST AND HER PARTNER. Everyone else is far more itneresting than the protagonist. I know and care far more for Sir Pentious than Charlie and her dreams. The show did not prove WHY we must root for Charlie, the hotel, and her friends. It's also a bit bizarre that Charlie would force these dumb cringey my-little-pony friendship exercises and then cut to heavily animated s3xual abuse and whatever serious matter. Personaly opinion but Alastor's design infuriates me. It's tacky. Nifty's design became terribly boring. It's also painfully obvious that the show seriously favors Angel and Alastor. I enjoyed Adam, Husk, Sir Pentious, Lucifer, and Vox. The songs were catchy and the animation was very fun to watch. The voices were amazing. Viv is an inspiration, but this show's writing was an absolute letdown. Too many damn plot armors and plot devices Similar issues can be said with Helluva Boss as well.

The quality is surprisingly horrible and cheap to look at. This does NOT feel like it was made by Disney who had been creating multiple gorgeous movies. It feels cheap and amateur. From the character designs, to the writing, the characters, singing, and even the world building. The King, Queen, Asha, and the kingdom itself feels so similar to Tangled's Rapunzel, King, Queen, and Corona kingdom. The King also reminds me too much about Elsa with his magic. I was pleasantly surprised that Asha wasn't always dorky or quirky like in the trailer. But she is a very bland character. I didn't find myself rooting for her because I didn't get to see how important her people are to her. Makes it seem like she's doing it all just because. The designs of the seven friends look DREADFULLY BAD. Snow White's seven dwarves were made with love and pride, and became iconic for almost a century. These seven friends feels like scrapped characters from previous movies. The friends are made to look like important characters but I don't even remember their names. I'm glad the goat doesn't talk much, the voice was annoying. The relationships and personalities are so, so weak. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves spoke about how important it is to show how characters interact, so when sht goes down it actually has an impact. It would actually make sense why the characters are driven to do something. This movie seriously lacked character development. IT SUCKS BECAUSE I ACTUSLLY LIKE THE IDEA. But it was executed really badly. It could've been a much better movie if they didn't rush it or give it some more care. I actually like the idea of taking a very important part of every single person because the King is a very paranoid person. He removes the drive of every person to rid of the chance of a rebellion or an attack in the kingdom. Or that he just doesn't want to see his people be disappointed or sad because they couldn't make their wishes happen. That could help his manipulation tactics. I did like the ending, but it really lacked the tension and build up. It's a big disappointment because it is the 100 years for Disney. I cannot remember a single character here where I can describe them. The story doesn't overall make much sense either. And it didn't really show that all the characters deserved what they got.

I've loved this movie ever since it first came out. It was my favorite movie as a kid. Although I haven't seen the original tv series. I loved the character's diverse personalities, especially Mr. Peabody's sarcastic style. What makes this so memorable for me is when Sherman and Penny were together, their chemistry felt so rich and genuine even as kids. The character development and conflicts didn't felt forced but it did feel slightly rushed. What I also noticed and appreciate is that Mr. Peabody's love for Sherman that he doesn't admit until the very end. Mr. Peabody only saw Sherman as a responsibility to take care of and protect with his life, he didn't want to acknowledge the love that comes with it until the very end where he tells him that he loves Sherman. Ms. Grunion was a perfectly spiteful woman and even she got a happy (and quite a hilarious) ending. As a nerd, I absolutely adore the jokes and silly puns of the story, and the action parts were super enteresting. I hate history, but this movie always made me so excited to literally note down Mr. Peabody's quotes about the past and learn about it. Almost 7 years ago when this first came out, I would watch this and never get bored, and even up until now, I love it. I'm really upset that this movie was super underrated to the point it took me 4 years later to realize the movie was actually made from Dreamworks, and that I was unable to find much about the movie online.

I am not a fan of mecha movies, but I thought the acting was amazing. The parts with the humans and the aliens confused me most, and I thought Teddy had a lot of potential but just ended up feeling irrelevant. I loved every part where robots are involved, especially Joe, but I thought they weren't THAT involved. The story was complex, and I struggled to understand the movie in a deeper level. I thought the first part with the family was boring, especially when Henry came back, but the middle part where he was with Joe was my favorite. Although the aliens were very kind, I thought the part with them kind of blows because it didn't make sense. I personally loved the ending and bawled my eyes out, because in the eyes of Monica, he was a real boy. But I wasn't a fan with how it happened with the aliens and all that.

It's a super fun movie. It is perfect for children, its jokes about the modern world were very creatuve and the Grandma was so wacky it was a blast. It's incredibly vibrant and doesn't make you bored. I loved the characters of the Croods 2, although I thought it rushed the emotional aspects. It just felt too goofy when it didn't need to. Regardless, I love Eep and Guy on how she acts dismissive of their relationship. The BetterMom being a Karen was SPOT ON. I also thought that making Dawn like Guy's cousin rather than the "compatible lover" was an amazing idea, and Eep and Dawn became best friends. I love the passive-aggressive feud between the moms, although I wasn't a fan of the BetterDad being some weird geezer. The punch monkeys were surprisingly hilarious despite being extremely wacky.
