Some in depth reporting on algorithms, both good features and bad features would be appropriate. Algorithms are being used more and more as a substitue to human screening. Unfortunately such use covers up legal violations or causes horrible accidents like the Max 8 episodes.
Most people do not understand that there is never a perfect algorithm. You can test and test and test but years later some error will occur. In old fashioned digital logic when something went haywire there was some physical evidence and the system went down. With solid state digital misfires ( switching errors) are few but they do not cause a shutdown when they happen. A double edged sword!
(just restart your computer and it is OK the next time) Heaven help us with self drive cars! Financial companies seem to undersrand the least the systems they buy to reduce labor costs. Quality algorithms might be cheaper than attorney fees!
