Great cinematic masterpiece for the beautiful setting and dynamic cinematography. Some of the acting is amazing and some is overplayed but a great film on so many ways.

Rated as one of the greatest movies of all time... It keeps your interest.. The other worldly aspect is probably the most interesting aspect. The camera work and the acting is excellent. The Star is really Machiko Kyo.. as the Lady of the manor.. she makes this film. I have seen it rated as one of the top 100 films of all time. Definitely, worth watching if you haven't seen it. Kind of a Japanese "It's a Wonderful Life.." with a twist.
