Watched RAYAN today at PVR, Sri Lanka. Superb story. We often think 'blood is thicker than water,' but our own blood can betray us for their selfishness. The casting is superb. Dhanush as RAYAN never disappoints. His acting is marvellous. The song "Bogi Bogi" in Dhanush's voice gave the whole audience goosebumps. The screenplay, along with the use of blue and red colors in the movie, effectively engage us with themes of vengeance and love for family. Dhanush's casting choices for this movie are excellent. Dushara as Durga is excellent in her acting. Her natural face and skin tone are captivating. Her portrayal of Durga does justice to the character, with her anger revealing shades of KAALI. 10/10
