I went into it thinking it was the story of Bob Ross. I quickly realized that the only thing in common Carl & Bob had was the afro, the 70's clothes and the van! It was very funny as Owen Wilson is a master of comedy. Once I came to terms that it was not about Bob Ross, it was very entertaining.
I just wish they didn't make it seem like it was about Ross, or depicted Wilson to look just like the beloved painter!🎨
