Absolutely bad writing. The poster saying "Be careful what you wish for" is absolutely thrown under the bus as it has not been the point of the show. In fact, it does the opposite by giving everyone their wishes not minding what the consequences it may have. The king who is obviously doing his best for his kingdom and is actually is a good guy became a bad guy through plot conveniences because a 17-year old thinks everyone's wishes should be granted (not thinking a wish could be wishing something evil). The songs are badly written as well and forgettable. Character arcs are so bad. Side characters are very flat. This might just be the worst Disney movie by far.
