Innocent Osondu

This is cinematic excellence, the emotions and thoughts I had throughout the 2hrs + duration of this movie can not be surmounted in mere text. The movie is based on a Book and I think it beautifully captured the essence of the story. Agu is not just a fictional character, but a conveyor of the story, agony, and abuse of every child who has been made to go through this inhumane experience. His First Person POV narrative is heartbreaking, he's innocence, childhood, and humanity was stripped off. A lot of children are facing such situations in the many war-torn areas of the world especially in sub Saharan Africa. A big shout out to the director and the production crew, they did some cinematic wonders with this movie.

An absolute masterpiece, dark humor, funny and over the top characters. The Decameron is undoubtedly one of the best 2024 series I've seen, up there with KAOS. Though, I became a bit emotional with Dioene and Tondre (, forgive my spellings) death, but it's still fun. The fuss with the perstilence and the guest's avarice is so funny. The Vincontess was super funny, also Pilfoda's wife, she was quite the highlight. Don't mind the 1,2 &3 star raters, they have a bad taste of humor with over the top emotions, this show is the real deal.

I'm very generous with reviews, but not this time. BirdBox has lots of potentials, great cast, but lacks any logical bearing. This movie is good for those who enjoy intense horror scenes with no logical backing. They had two chances to make sense out of this story yet it became worse with each passing minute I spent watching it. Lots of loopholes, inconsistency, and characters with absolute zero drive. The whole world is supposedly infected by this psychotic being but somehow you are surviving, for what? What are these beings? Where are they from? Why are they making people suicidal Why are some people immune to it? Where's the government in all of these? The only thing we got was THEY ALTER THE DNA! and somehow you can create a vaccine from one unexplained immune individual. How where they even able to capture this creature to be able to run clinicals trials? With each passing minute, the director, producer, writer and the entire crew raises the middle finger on us the audience. Like one of the reviews here said, "If you have any respect for your time which I did not you will stay away from this mess"

Why's it that Hollywood movies about Russia always portray them villains. It's now like a content farm for Hollywood to use these tacky absurd stereotypes about anything Russia while exonerating themselves as the good guy and saviour, when in the real sense they've caused more harm than the villains they portray others to be. For one, I enjoyed the movie, JLaw was good, the torture scene is felt excruciating but man, it's nothing special. It's was overly slow paced and too long.

All the bad reviews are from people who watched just Season 1 of this show, believe me I would have been like them if I didn't watch S2.😂😂 Yeah a lot of questions unanswered, also why did Ms Min not die as predicted by Ms Park? Why did the Detective in S1 E1 suddenly disappear almost for 10 episodes? I thought he was one of the main characters? Overall it's a good show, I enjoyed it. I loved how they portrayed the Fanatic Arrowhead group.

Mike Flannagan definitely has a thing for Horror Movies and he's so fcvking good at it. Midnight Mass has an amazing story line, quality dialogue that would drive her audience to thoughts with it. It touches the most controversial aspect of our humanity, existence and faith, fingering the God factor as the ultimate source of good and evil with just a very thin line differentiating the two ends of the pole. This show is so good that I wouldn't want to watch it again cuz it's just a hard one. Also it has one of the best church sermons I've ever heard in a TV show/movie. Fr, Paul, Miss Bev and everyone of their little salvation army unfortunately did cross the line in their quest for God. Poor Reilly who just got back from Prison and was getting he's life together had to die🥱🥱 definitely the one person I wished didn't die. Well Mike Flannagan doesn't have mercy when it's about killing off a character. 😂😂 It's his story so I wouldn't blame him.

Some movies will leave you with some profound sense of humility, and humanity. Though the storyline was more focused on a few groups of people when the disaster was much on a global scale, lots of pseudoscience and some of the characters did not embody the role to compound the scale of the disaster. How would anyone want to be kissing when human existence was is at the brink of falling apart, also making US the hero of the story yet again is so funny to me😂. By the way I loved the few minutes screentime on the US/Mexico border, was so humbling 😂😂. However, the special effects in this movie surpasses must of the ones we see in today's movies. If only they spent half of the equivalent amount for special effects on good script writing...

Paris has given us some of the best heist movies out there. Lupin, my gentleman burglar, master of disguise and one of Paris greatest Con Artist. The storyline is gripping, with copious amounts of thrill and it keeps you intrigued with a rush of adrenaline, but don't expect any outlandish twists. He's smooth, quick, witty and always has a trick up his sleeve which he pulls off with ease. I personally loved the fact that his family didn't act dumb, especially the wife, she was smart. This show is in the top 5 best heist shows I've ever seen. Very educational, entertaining, and has very very minimal amount of sexual scenes, you could watch it with family. I'd like to watch Season 4, seems Pellegrini has some cards he'd like to throw, and Diop's mama seems cool, to have some more extra screentime.
