Nice rug-pull, Hollywood. Very clever manipulation with the title. But, makes perfect sense if you consider the story is told from the perspective of a very small band of survivors in a world where almost all communications with others have been destroyed. How would they know what had happened, either? The story strands don't unravel the way we have been conditioned to expect them to, so it leaves a bit of a cheated feeling, but it's perhaps more real (in the characters' actions and reactions) than other movies in this genre.
