There are protests against this movie that Gangubai is not like she's portrayed here yet the movie has very deep message for the society. The way she's portrayed in the film, a bold, outright, honest and intelligent speaker is enough to love her persona. Her deep sacrifices are to be respected from the core of our hearts and her thoughts for women and sex worker empowerment are unspeakably awesome. Thanks to this film for bringing to light such an wonderful woman to light❤️
