It seems this movie was enjoyed by younger people who perhaps need to hear the message of joy, love and family being more important than achievements, a meaningful point to make. However, it just took too long to make that point. Too many alternate universes led to too little time for character development. The comedy was juvenile and transitions were too abrupt. Overall, I don't see why it won the awards.
