Although it wasn’t a large budget type of a film, the story and the interaction between the Christians and Jews living in the Jewish quarter and the Muslim slave woman, gives you a glimpse of tumultuous times. How tough a poor family can have it that you don’t even have shoes! Good story line. I’m sure Spain has thousands of such stories to be discovered.
