This is the greatest historical film of all time and quite possibly the greatest film of all time. It's certainly my favorite. There are some historical inaccuracies and moments of theatre sensationalism which I could get into but my interpretation is that the movie is by and large historically accurate. The cinematography remains unprecedent to this day and the film offers existential arguments and themes which make Lawrence's impact on the Arab Revolt seem as real to us today as it was then.
