A short French silent film adapted from Greco-Roman mythology. King of the Gods Jupiter casts thunderbolt causing havoc of men to wield over the Muses, Goddesses of knowledge and inspiration and retrieve divine potency.
It seems that all religions have had a glimpse of this great truth, the fall of man. It is found in all the theological systems of the globe, and serves as the base of ancient philosophy (Ouvaroff, Price, JD, Sacy).
Polytheism which is characterised by mystagogy is founded on ancient religion and philosophy (ie. the great Eleusis mysteries) interrogating 'origin of civilisation', 'a common centre', 'a focus of information'.
Continental philosophy scholar and Orientalist Ouvaroff suggests findings made by Mr. Wilford which anchored the origin of mystagogy and showed the relevance of normalising 'influence of oriental ideas over the civilisation of antiquity... : every unprejudiced person will see in the East the cradle of religious traditions and of philosophical modes of discipline' (Ouvaroff, Price, JD, Sacy).
