I never, ever read other readers reviews. I like my authors & I like to make my judgment after reading a book. This time I went to search for reviews, want to see if my feeling of total disappointment, almost disgust of what I m reading was my imagination, ( I am President Trump's true supporter). Glad so many Americans share my understanding of this personal vendetta so inappropriate for an author of Silva's caliber. Goodbye Gabriel Allon, sorry you ended like this, you really deserve better. I hope, that a year of this disastrous administration has changed Silva's adulation, if not for the sour turn toward Israel, than for American citizens that have to endure today's perils under Biden/Harris/Pelosi rule.
