Having not read the books, I was pleasantly surprised that this show completely exceeded my expectations. Loved the hell out the entire season. Fascinating storylines and interesting characters (well-portrayed by excellent actors) in a rich, layered world of lesser evils. The Witcher is a really worthwhile journey. The team behind the show totally nailed it.
Came online after finishing the season, and was surprised to see negative clickbait trash from the critics.
How about this? Let's stop giving clicks to people who inexplicably get paid to generate advertising revenue from opinions that are no more worthwhile than any of the opinions you're reading here. Let's not renew *them* for another season.
It's ~2020. Given the thousands of insightful reviews you can read here from people who *actually watched the show* (unlike some of the reviewers), it's hard to understand why "professional" reviewers even exist anymore.
Instead, just ignore them and enjoy this awesome show!
