Premise is a good start. DNA matching for love. The problem is the pacing. Most of the story can be engaging but too many drawn out shots, and little dialog.
The acting is good, not great. The story revolves around too little people. Only 3 types of matches are really shown.(main character, the cop investigating the story, and random couple) 4th if you take into consideration the last episode.
I am hoping that this was the arc for Act 1, If so then it tells the one story, leaves enough to grow on in the next Act.
Hopefully, we will get to see some of the changes that this new technology is bringing out in people. Brothers murdering each other over a match, the young couple that just got married and only want the best for each other, abusive relationships, show why the divorce rate is only in a flux and not indicative of major social overhaul.
They do leave a lot hanging that can develop into a good show and great concept(esp if they start breaking up some of the main show with the couple/s of the week.
Overall, give it a watch, probably 3 episodes in and then see if it will resonate with you.
