Jack Kaplan

Shortly after the end of World War II, Jewish survivors of the Holocaust seek a new sanctuary in the promised land. Along with some Jews from England and other countries they struggle to turn Palestine back into the Jewish homeland of Israel. Against overwhelming odds they establish and defend their home. It is also a story of love between two people from very different backgrounds.

Touching and heartfelt. A lot of sadness but uplifting in the balance. The relationship between Mr. Church and Charlotte was beautiful and felt very real.
