Fun movie, throwback to the original with lots of surprises. Really funny. Not quite as good as the original though. Definitely recommended though if you are a fan of Beetlejuice and 80's nostalgia.

I personally really enjoyed the movie... It's a genre. Great actors and moody story. Awesome sci-fi. The unique special effects have their own appeal in my opinion... An underrated classic. Wish there were more like it.

Loved it. Forget the critics and go see it especially if you grew up playing Mario games or if you have kids. Beautiful animation and genuinely funny... Great story faithful to the games.
