I really, mostly, loved the show in the beginning...GZ's recipes are so good, but in my opinion, at least in the first seasons, I feel he was sarcastic to Jeff, thinking he could only make sandwiches?! Jeff held his own and was able to get GZ'S "goat" a few times which I LOVED!! I adore Jeff, he is absolutely hysterical!!! AND, this Chef can cook!! Now, I come to Sunny!! Who does she think she is??? She acts like she's the Host in charge!! She starts almost EVERY segment. Have you also noticed how she manages to sidle up to GZ everything chance she gets?? She was THE ONLY host to run over and kiss GZ when he told the crew that baby George made his appearance in their family??? I do not believe she eats at home...she is ALWAYS the first to grab another's first serving!! That's usually reserved for the sous chef!!! She is loud, boisterous and always in your face! The dishes she makes are disgusting...SO FULL of grease and grease and 6 lbs of cheese per dish and always adds booze to her cooking!! I'm surprised the Food Network allows her to glorify her alcoholism on daytime TV!!?? That's all she talks about...her next drink. In one of the episodes on the 1st or 2nd season she steals Marcella's drink who is right beside her. They were revealing their "kitchen confessions" and she said she needed 2 drinks to reveal her confession...she didn't even tell Marcella!!! In her quest to be GZ'S favorite she has actually made a fool of herself!! AND, that hair of hers...OMG!! The episode that was all about tomatoes, either side of her part was at least 5 inches wide on each side and totally BLACK while the rest of her hair was orange and bushy!!! I don't know why the Network allowed her to go before a camera looking like she had just walked away from being struck by lightning!! I will say though normally I like her hair. She is rude, loud and uncouth!! She has no idea how to be a professional!! So, FN Tell me why she was given so much to do on camera when you had a most intelligent, beautiful and elegant CHEF right there.. Marcella Valladolid! She not only has French culinary schooling dioma but Pastry instruction as well!! She was a joy to watch especially when Sunny wasn't screaming some comments that no one asked for!! Then, there's Katie's...I firmly believe she was hired as the "pretty face"...she has absolutely no culinary training at all...and it shows! She asks the same question to whoever is making the dish!!! Her little side show of saying: "I know you're taking but I can't hear you...my canines are watering...I need that meat!!" Unbelievable that she and the FN think that is entertaining?? Then she thinks that if she sashays up to the chef she can get the first piece...she couldn't believe that GZ ignored her when she sashayed up to him wanting to get his "ugly" burger first! She was highly indignant and said; " I can't believe he's going to make me wait"!! I miss Marcella so much!! Katie and Sunny are clowns compared to Marcella's culinary knowledge, her calm and put-together look was alway inviting! I think the clowns are jealous!' I could go on...as those 2 clowns provided me with hours of ammunition!! Nancy p.s. I loved sunny's shoe Cooking for Real...she wasn't in competition's with anyone!!
