*** Spoiler alert *** unless you have seen all 6 series, it's best not to read this review until after you've watched them all. Just know that it's a fantastic show and i highly recommend it.
Loved all 6 series. Chloe Decker and Lucifer Morningstar make a great team. Although they spend the rest of her life apart and it was explained throughout the last season, i think it was a bitter sweet way to end. Made me feel there was no real hope for her earthly future and could be viewed as a very lonely and arduous journey. Don't get me wrong. I love the show, and looked forward to watching every episode, but it was still sad. Her character is strong willed and focused, eager to get things done and take charge, which makes sense as to why she can handle the road ahead at the end of season 6. She has a heck of a lot of patience.
Lucifer finally finding his true calling after a long and lengthy search also helps draw the full series to a close. It gives quite a fresh perspective into his character, as well as a better understanding of who the devil is and what his role entails for the future of hell in the biblical sense.
I like they spend an eternity together once she passes, but it is a long road to travel for her, Rory and Trixie to spend their earthly years without Lucifer. Kinda wished the show didn't end at all. I think i would have continued to watch another series if it did have more. The last scene in the last episode was the best way to end it, i think.
