Pros:
- The anime follows the first three games very closely, and if you wanted, you could technically use the anime as a walkthrough for the more significant parts of the games
- It cuts straight to the point and even adds/changes a few details to make it more interesting. We also get introduced to certain characters more quickly than in the games (in their respective cases, of course)
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Justice for All represent Season 1, while Trials and Tribulations represent Season 2
- We learn more about Phoenix, Miles, and Larry's friendship back in Grade School; showing us the connection between the trio
Cons:
- The opening and ending for the anime adaptation of the first game don't fit the tone of the series, luckily that changes when Justice For All starts later in Season 1,
- The English Dub for Season 2 isn't available on Crunchyroll
Pro and Con:
- The Judge's English VA joked about this in the bloopers, but occasionally, during more dramatic/intimate moments of the anime, there will be straight-up generic porn music playing in the background
I not only wish there was more respect for the anime, but I wish there were more seasons based on the later games.
I will update this as I continue watching the series.
