Mixed feelings Good writing but… The love that the first male lead has for Eun Ho is a toxic one. He’s embarrassed of her because she’s not successful at her career, he tells her this to her face openly. Then behind her back, he sneaks her jobs with screen time, making her other colleagues think less of her and disrespect her and he thinks that’s okay because she’s wants the screen time and that’s his way of loving her. Even when he finds out about her illness, his first reaction is concern that she had cheated on him and his second reaction is concern that he may have caused her sickness, both selfish reactions. The concern about her wellbeing came last and this just solidified how selfish his character is. Making Eun Ho end up with the first male lead showed us how broken Eun Ho is as a person. I guess this is what the writers were trying to pass across but I need them to stop whitewashing it like it’s some wonderful love story. It’s toxic through and through. Eun Ho should have known because at the beginning of the relationship, this guy went 6 months without speaking to her because she didn’t answer a question that he didn’t ask. Toxic, toxic, toxic!!!
