Cavan Candito

Excellent 17th century period-piece movie with hints of something awful lurking in the shadows, and excellent acting by all. An allegory about the human psyche, and human fears. Don't be dismayed by dimwits who moan about "all the bible talk." The movie is not trying to drag you to church -- People in 1630 did talk "bible talk," as the writers found out by researching old records from that century, to make this movie.
