Pacing was off from start to finish. It felt like the potential was there but could have been directed alot better. Some scenes didnt make sense, the build up for the fights are mediocre at best. It's sad because I was really looking forward to this movie all year.

Visuals are good and the battle scenes were decent (better than I thought) but the face reveal was pretty bad and underwhelming not to mention uncalled for at the moment in the story, he kinda did it to do it. Halo uses alot of different races and cultures, they have built strong characters with great developement stories over the years and just to switch their race because you wanted to was a terrible idea. Those people had grown in the people's hearts from Halo CE all the way to now. If they change spartan Lockes race would they still be expressing artistic freedom? Halo is a culture, with room for every race, all bringing great back story and different perspectives to the Halo universe and that's all I want because that what makes it great!! That's the Halo I want to see not this halfway decent at best back story.
