Dinsey has went out of their way again to force politics and diversity into a live action that make absolutely no sense. They kept most characters the same but the main character Ariel has been changed completely not even Ariels iconic redhair made it into this film. There is big talk about how this movie brings representation to black children but they forget that pale gingers also need their favorite characters to remain the same for their representation. The movie is very dark and boring. Hallebailey looks creepy and nothing like Ariel in many of her scenes. They made prince Eric adopted and his song was very cringe. The CGI looks awful and the new songs are absolutely terrible. Another change I disliked is when Ariel gets her voice back. In the original animals help attack Ursula and Ariel innocently gets her voice back but in the live action halle runs in and brutally attacks Ursula. This takes away Ariel's innocent nature and just looks bad. It makes Halle look very hood rat. This film was one of the most anticipated films and Disney ruined it with Rob Marshall's help.

Looks like Disney is following the ginger erasure in hollywood with erasing their only classic and loved redhead characters, Peterpan and Ariel. Besides peterpan and tinker bell being race swapped the movie has alot of reasons to be rated low. Terrible graphics, girls in the "lost boys" , scene transition is laughable and the over all quality of the film is just awful. People watch these remakes to see their childhood again when disney changes their characters and story it takes away the disney magic. Keep the classics the same and make new stories for the "woke" crowd .
