A short story about 25 pages could covered the simplistic end of the world plot perfectly. This has been padded out with trivial interactions between the one dimensional, trivial and predictable characters.. The glacial slow pace of the plot development becomes painfully boring. Very weak and unimaginative ending wraps up this mediocre work .
