Memorable 'Bhag Milkha bhag' was the factor steering to watch this movie, but it's a big disappointment. Farhan has the natural acting ability and is proven once again.
The subject of the movie seems a perplexing one, dangling ridiculously between the spirit of the athlete and an orphan secular guy who is so royal hearted not to fall in love-jihad sort of controversial tricks, but a genuine lover.
The whole picturisation is taking a straight course of the line to pour in cold water on the communal reality of the time. The whole Akhtar family has been critical of CAA and NRC like issues, but cunningly depicting the innocent face on the silver screen; clearly in a seer attempt to cover up the Jihadi mentality which can affect a mass population in the country.
Well, the movie is almost predictable on each turn and there is nothing new offering to the spectators. A mediocre story extinct designed to set the dust that is up in the air regarding love jihad has purposely derailed the sports genre of the cinema. Youth of any given era has a palpable inclination towards celebrities and the filmy icons are perhaps set on top of the stars.
Almost no melodious opera woven into the Indian style cinema neither overwhelming fighting scenes that please a large audience arise a strong reservation of an attempt to dilute the love jihad angle by a rarely occurring true Muslim lover, a male in this case with a pit class chewed storyline.
Along with nepotism and drugs, the Islamic grip on Bollywood is once again surfaced to mislead a general perception.
