TellMe Ate le Sugar

The first time Turning Red was mentioned I had mixed feelings and that stayed with me throughout the first quarter of the movie. Most of the time I was surprised on how this was Pixar. It felt different from the past movies. I only decided to watch it because well, it’s Pixar too I gave myself the challenge to not cry and I was pretty confident about this one. It was more of a funny coming of age movie. (I’m pretty sure this was more intended for girls-) When it got to the very end and at one point in the beginning I could connect with the characters with my own life, and that’s where I just got emotional. Overall cute, but odd movie with a very good moral.

As someone who came from an immigrant family, it was a very beautiful portrayed movie.

As someone who was forced to binge watch almost all of the dc movies by their father just to understand this one, it was honestly pretty cool.
