Libby Hopson

I think Mel Gibson was terrific in this movie. His portrayal of a loving then grieving father is so true to life. You can see the emptiness in his eyes after his daughter is killed. I knew early on that he wasn’t going to survive because his portrayal of a man with nothing to lose was spot on. He has always been a great actor.

I loved this movie. Andy Garcia was outstanding. I love every movie he’s made. His sweetness and violence under the surface is mesmerizing. Christopher Walken was evil incarnate. The scenes with him were disgusting but they were supposed to be. It really should have gotten higher ratings.
