Within the first 30min there is so much combat. It has completely take away the horror/suspense building that the original had. When the radio goes off every 5 seconds then there is nothing to be scared of cause you just assume they are around you, so you don't even need it. When you go into buildings you just play ring around the rosie with enemies to get where you need to go. (Basically The Last of Us style, which is a great game by itself) but that's not what this is supposed to be. Save yourself the money and play the original for a good scare and story. This company took a classic and just pooped on it just to make a little extra money.

Beyond being graphically amazing, I'll give it that much. This game offers nothing of interest. The story is just was not attention grabbing at all. The combat style was ridiculous. I guess they felt that we should box with the monsters (Duck and jab). It feels as if they just wanted to cash in on people wanting to play Dead Space and didn't pay much attention to actual gameplay, just graphics. I played it to get my moneys worth out of it. Then immediately deleted.
