One of the best movies I have seen. Excellent acting from all the cast. The most menacing part for me is the sound of the baseball bat in the tunnel. Nothing short of a masterpiece. Cannot understand why it didn't win lots of awards. Then again, Quinten Tarantino is not liked by the voters at the Oscar's. One day he'll get the recognition he so deserves

Awful. Just 1 example of the rubbish:someone whips themselves hard enough to draw blood. Next frame of them they are walking away in a white shirt, absolutely no blood. Not scary a child could have written a better horror film. The one thing it did do, bore me so much it cured my last 3 nights insomnia and sent me to sleep after 50 minutes

First film to make me laugh out loud in every long time. Excellent British cast (very unusual), very British sense of humour throughout. I can't wait to watch the next ones in the series. Loved una Stubbs and her 2 friends, escaping from the home for 1 last jolly, as they said something like "geriatric Thelma and louise". Also loved one of these ladies comments "I do love a Dr", the reply "get your legs together we're on a literary tour, not love island". Well worth 2 hours of your time

I do wonder if some people have watched the same film. Pretty slow for nearly 2 hours. If I wanted to watch virtually a western I would have found an old Clint Eastwood film. Not up to the usual standard I'm sorry

A good thriller. One bit of dark humour near the start. The only reason not 5 star is a weak ending in mho. Again joaqium phoenix puts in a great performance, this time as an ex vet as a tortured ex vet. I've seen comments where people don't like flashbacks, but you need them to understand him.
