Giving this two stars just because the original cast... other than that I absolutely disliked this movie. I loooooved beetlejuice growing up and even still re-watch it multiple times in a year. This I can tell you was so far off from what the original was and the feelings it gave me. There were sooo many story lines with really no details conclusions felt very rushed. There was sooo much going on the musical singing stage twords the end was just there I feel just to buy time in the movie. It was very raunchy which beetlejuice was indeed but not to this extent it just went overboard.. I was soooo excited for this movie I went all out and got my daughter and myself themed outfits bought the outrageously priced theater bundle 🙃 only for me to feel like walking out of the theater a little over halfway through... Tim Burton was off his rocker in this movie and not in the good way... I really hope that future movies made by him will not turn out this way.. also not very family friendly like the first one was.

Loved all the insidious movies but to sum it up just watch the first one age the characters and it's this movie. Same story same plot they are just older now and the parents are divorced. Major boredom and disappointment
