Antichrist the tribulation of two chat bots This film is of no merit on even the basest level even if one enjoys the sexually graphic of this film they should be able to get immeasurably more enjoyment from the average pornography video than this light and if one is here for the violence there are more then ample slasher flicks to satisfy your needs. The first hour of this film may as well be two AI chats talking to each other the dialogue is excessively bland and predictable and Charlotte Gainsbourg is especially poor in her tonal range. A text-to-speech bot can produce more variety of emotion. She is also restricted by her very idoitic character who I was never to feel for a second as she was her own character rather than a slave of the bayou-speed plot. William Dafoe though I see the effort he put into this he also suffers from a character that is not in anyway interesting or that people can connect with. Meaning that the first solid hour of this view is two individuals one cannot care an iota about discussing issues that are important. The last forty minutes of this film at least have a scintilla of substance that is not bland psychology. Still there is not that much of it especially not enough to compensate for the first hour of the film. With this film as a whole being a slog that has not a single reason to watch. If you wish to enjoy films about anxiety there are so many preferable choices that can actually speak to some reality.
